While I respect anyone who has forgone shaving his face for any amount of time, is it really necessary to grow out two-week stubble, call it a “beard,” take a generic photobooth picture and submit it to all the beard blogs?

I love the fact that more and more dudes are deciding to grow out some facial hair and that more and more ladies enjoy it, but let’s wait till there’s at least, say, one inch of facial hair growth before having your photoshoot with your “beard” and making the rounds with the beard blogs….

After a quick photoshop job, I guess the girl who made that comment was pretty damn close! lol

A little recent beard update for anyone who’s interested….This was at about 9 months in.

I gave this dude a dollar to get a smooch from his bird. Spent four days in L.A. last week; this was probably the highlight of the trip. Santa Monica Pier, California.

Alright, one more, just ‘cause I find this one to be pretty funny.

I know I’ve been posting a ton of photos of me lately, but I couldn’t help myself….I just did a shoot today with my bud Kenny. I have to pick out one of these to have enlarged to 20x30 inches and framed as a Christmas present for my two best friends.

…..please tell me I’m not the only one who finds these rather amusing!

I’m doing a professional photoshoot dressed as a cowboy this week. Then I’m taking the best photo, enlarging it to poster-size, framing it and giving it to my best friends to put up in their living room.

I think it’s a very thoughtful gift, personally.
